Annual Student Awards 2012 Winner: Outstanding Progress (Olympic / Paralympic value of Respect)
Posted 27th February
Mason Collins is studying on the second year of the BTEC Level 3 Performing Arts course.
Throughout his years in the Performing Arts Department, he has grown significantly as a performer and taken on lead roles in dance and drama productions.
Mason has grown in confidence immeasurably and accepts any role or challenge given to him. He is also a great example to students on the Level 2 and Level 3, year 1 course.
Not only has Mason made outstanding progress in his skills in dance and acting, he is also an impressive role model to his peers with his faultless attendance and punctuality, his enthusiasm and willingness to learn, his refusal to become unfocused when those around him deviate, and his unstintingly brilliant sense of humour.
Mason is now applying to drama schools and conservatoires to gain a place on an Acting/Musical Theatre Course.
