Annual Student Awards Winners 2011: Vocational Achievement Award (recognising the Olympic / Paralympic value of Excellence)
Posted 14th February
Adam started at the College in 2009 on the BTEC National Diploma in Media Production (TV & Film) and is currently in his second year. Since starting the course, Adam has been a popular student with his classmates and has consistently worked hard. All of his teachers highly commend his work ethic as well as the high quality of written and production work.
What makes Adam stand out as an award winner is his positive and fearless attitude to helping his classmates with their productions. He has been involved in numerous projects – and as a result has helped out many of his peers. Adam will always lend a hand behind the camera, and as his blossoming showreel, he isn’t afraid of a challenge, or even doing things that perhaps aren’t the most flattering. He’s not afraid of what people think of him, as long as the job is done and that his classmates are happy.
Adam has proven to be an inspiration to his peers and also to the rest of the students in the media department. They all respect his dedication to filmmaking, but most importantly, to helping others. Adam truly deserves this award.
