The 20 year old student, who is deaf, is looking forward to this year’s World Championships in Thailand, after winning the EDSO European Futsal Championship in Bulgaria.

The very young squad performed exceptionally, topping their group, scoring 21 goals and conceding only one.

“We begin planning straightaway to ensure the medal is a different colour at the World Cup next year.”

Elite disability development manager Jeff Davis added: “It is an outstanding result. The team went into the event ranked sixth and out-performed most teams. I am confident this group of players can only get better and go to Thailand with confidence that they can beat any team in the world.”

“We begin planning straightaway to ensure the medal is a different colour at the World Cup next year” said England Head Coach, Julie Callaghan
