Finalist - Young South African Chef of the Year 2018

Congratulations to young talented chef, Pablo German Cajamarca, studying Level 3 in Professional Cookery, at our Hackney campus, has been chosen as a finalist in the Young South African Chef of the Year competition.
The students had to create and submit a menu with each course highlighting a different South African fruit – Pablo’s chose to use peach and apple for his dishes.
The judges were extremely impressed with Pablo’s entry and congratulated him on becoming a 2018 finalist.
Senior Curriculum Manager for Hospitality and Catering, Just McNamara said: “Well done Pablo!! you worked hard on this, well deserved. Also congratulations Jeff (Mason) and thank you for giving up your time for the extra tuition.”
Good luck to Pablo who takes part in the final at Westminster Kingsway College on Tuesday 24th April.
