HCC Fashion and Performing and Circus Arts students put on spectacular shows at the Hackney More in Common event.
Visitors enjoyed the sunshine alongside community stalls and activities, debates and workshops. They were kept entertained through the day by singers, storytellers, choirs and HCC students’ end of year fashion catwalk and performing arts shows – all part of the national Great Get Together weekend.
Head of Fashion, Paulene Carr said “I am so proud of my students’ amazing garments shown on the catwalk. I am going to miss this class and wish each one of them a fantastic career in the industry!”
Performing and Circus Arts
Performance students encouraged audience participation with their show Soul Divas inspired by the story of the original Supremes.
The event was organised in partnership with Hackney Unites, Hackney CVS, Hope not Hate and supported by over 70 community groups.
