On completion of this Apprenticeship, you will be able to demonstrate practical skills and knowledge in Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs. You will also gain good communication and numerical skills.

- IMIAL Level 2 Certificate in Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs
- NVQ 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repairs
- Key Skill Application of Number (level 1)
- Key Skill Communication (level 1)
Who’s it aimed at?
Anyone who is working in a garage, who is looking to improve their knowledge and skills and work towards a level 3 or MOT test engineer qualification.

Technical Certificate and NVQ:
- Health and Safety in the workplace
- Routine Vehicle maintenance
- Engines
- Electrical Units and Systems
- Light Vehicle Chassis and Systems
- Light Vehicle Transmission, Driveline Units and Systems
Key Skills:
- Literacy level 1
- Numeracy level 1
Entry requirements
- College interview and assessment
- Must be working in a garage
- Must be prepared for 1 day release from work
- Must be a legal resident of the UK
