IELTS is accepted by thousands of organisations in over 135 countries. The Academic test is designed for people who want to study or train in an English-speaking university or institutions of higher and further education. Admission to undergraduate and postgraduate courses is based on the results of the Academic test. IELTS tests all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking. Our experienced, qualified teachers can help you prepare for the test and reach the score required for you to enter into higher education in the UK.

Who should go on this course?

People for whom English is not their first language and want to attend university in the UK.

Course content

• You will practice listening, reading, writing and speaking in preparation for the IELTS tests.
• You will be expected to complete weekly written tasks for homework.

Course date

January – April 2011

Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-9pm (10 weeks)

Assessment

You will take the IELTS exam in a nominated London Open Centre.
