Stacey lands dream job
Stacey Hemmings has always been interested in office administration and so when she landed a job as an apprentice at the Learning Trust she was absolutely delighted. Not only was she working in an office, but – with the help of Hackney Community College – she would also get qualified for the job at the same time.
Stacey, from Barking, successfully completed the Business Administration Level 2 course at HCC while working in the Learning Trust’s 14 – 19 section for a year.
The twenty-two year old’s positive attitude and hard work has seen her recently rewarded with a new contract working in the Trust’s Admissions department. She is thoroughly enjoying her new responsibilities.
She said: “I really love doing a 9 – 5 job. You get to earn a decent salary and you learn a lot as well.”
