Ebru’s hard work and determination pays off
Nineteen year old Ebru Kuckuarslan successfully completed her year-long apprenticeship with the Learning Trust whilst studying on the Business Administration Level 2 course at Hackney Community College.
As a result of her competence and dedication, Ebru’s contract has been extended at the Learning Trust where she currently works in the Human Resources department.
Initially, when Ebru was told that she had to attend College as part of her apprenticeship she had reservations about returning to education after having left school at fifteen with no qualifications.
Now the bright teenager from Hackney has no regrets about choosing the apprenticeship route as she was able to gain from valuable work experience and also achieve the qualifications to go along with it.
She said: “Apprenticeships are excellent. You’re working, learning and getting paid at the same time.”
