Business Administration & Digital Office Skills
About the course
“HCC is a great place to study Business Administration. Being so close to the City, we’re perfectly positioned to access the exciting world of Business.
As well as holding regular employer forums, the college’s strong employer links ensure we have every opportunity to get a great job at the end of our course.
The college has fantastic facilities including a model office which is kitted out with office equipment for scenario-based training; it really adds to the strong emphasis on ‘real world’ workplace preparation. We spend a lot of time getting work-ready – and the tutors help to find work placements, so we get hands on experience of a work environment.
We’re also taken on visits to large organisations such as the BBC, so we can learn about all the different functions and pathways that are available to us after we’ve completed our course. These include, IT, Finance, HR, Marketing and lots more!
The teachers and staff here really cater for students’ needs and make our opinions feel valued. They are very supportive and help us get ahead in our studies – not just to pass.
The courses run from level 1 to level 3 and include full time, part time and apprenticeship delivery options. Many students progress through the levels – and the success rates are well above national average for all levels – with some courses achieving 100%.
You can really succeed at Hackney Community College. Passed students have gone on to find employment in large corporate companies in the city such as UBS and many others go on to University. So come and have a chat with the tutors and look round the campus and see what makes Business Administration at Hackney Community College so great!”
