Probation

The appointment is subject to a probationary period of at least six months or more depending on the post appointed to.

Working Hours

You will be expected to work such hours as are reasonably necessary for the proper performance of your duties and responsibilities, within a maximum of 35 hours per week.

Salary

Salary is payable monthly in arrears by direct credit transfer. Pension and Retirement The College operates two Superannuation Schemes (teachers’ pension scheme and local government, administered by London Pension Fund Authority LPFA). All staff are automatically put into the schemes unless you chose not to join. This request must be in writing.

Sickness

If you are absent from work due to sickness or injury, you will be eligible to receive sick pay in accordance with the Corporation’s Sickness Policy.

Benefits of employment

You will be entitled to receive your normal remuneration for all Bank and Public Holidays normally observed in England and Wales. Support staff receive 30 days annual leave and lecturing staff receive 57 days annual leave.
